Sorry it’s been so long since I last blogged. Life has been crazy with work, finishing up a 18 hour semester, and everything thing else. But alas it is summer and I coouldn’t be happier despite taking summer classes, I know it will be a fun summer filled with many mini shopping trips and adventures to the lake.
Well here is what has been on my mind lately… So is it just me or is it that guys now-a-days hide behind technology?! I mean how many of us (girls) get a text message or a Facebook inbox, asking us to dinner or a movie? Technology has made it too easy for guys! I miss the good ole days of waiting by the phone (home phone) for a guy to call. Now it’s text message this Facebook that..ughh.. I mean a phone call is not that hard to do BUT I feel as if guys are getting too petrified of rejection if it is done thru a call or in person. Another thing that drives me crazy is when a guy can tell you how gorgeous you are and how pretty you are in a text but when you actually see him in person..nothing… why? Why is it so difficult to say what you’re thinking or feeling? Guys don’t be afraid to say what’s on your mind (in person). I know it’s easier thru a text or Facebook inbox but seriously, communication is key for a friendship or relationship. So if you’re already having a hard time relaying your feelings in person now..Your future doesn’t look too bright. It shows the girls that you care and are taking a few extra steps for her. I know it’s hard to see someone face to face to ask them on a date, but what about sending flowers with a sweet message on it? Or send a carrier pigeon or owl? (jk this isn’t Hogwarts). It would just be nice to see a guy go the extra mile for a girl.
